About Bea
Welcome. My name is Beatrice Schaer. I am a London based Mental Performance Coach, Rehabilitation Specialist and Strength Coach having previously graduated from the University of Western States (UWS) with a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree and more recently with an MSc in Sport & Performance Psychology.
I have been working with athletes and regular clients for over 15 years successfully bringing them back to their sport and normal daily activities using evidence based physical rehabilitation and strength training methods. My extensive experience of working with clients and having sustained a few injuries myself, I realized overtime how important the mind is in successfully bringing athletes back to performing at a high level in their sport post injury.
This experience lead me to pursue my Master's Degree in Sport and Performance Psychology so that I am able to better help others overcome injury struggles and mentally prepare to perform at their best.
In addition to my rehabilitation work I have been coaching runners and triathletes over the last decade and I also work as a Strength & Conditioning coach.
I have a passion for mentoring and teaching students and MSK/Rehab practitioners and have been teaching in more formal settings at UWS as well as provided staff training sessions and online & in person workshops over the years.
I have played sports since growing up in Switzerland enjoying a variety such as soccer (regional level) and basketball, competing in the 2nd highest Swiss floorball league as a high schooler and junior in college before choosing to compete in duathlons and also qualifying for the British Championship in Powerlifting in the last 10 years as a more mature age group athlete.
